House
Your sigil, your house name, your culture and your faith: who your character is in the realm.

Your banner
Your sigil. It marks your town on the live map, and it also appears beside every event your town announces on Discord and the wiki.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/banner | A full banner kit: a blank banner, a loom, 8 of every dye and all 10 special patterns. Once a day. |
/banner set | Save the banner you're holding as your house banner. |
Advanced banner commands
A loom paints six layers at most, so describe your design in writing instead and carry 64 layers. Name the base banner, then a colour and a pattern for every layer above it.
/banner set BLACK_BANNER RED:gradient_up YELLOW:border
That replaces your banner completely. Use add instead to
preserve the banner you have and paint further layers above it.
/banner add YELLOW:triangle_bottom RED:border
Your house
Your house is the family name your banner flies under, and it also records a motto, a spouse and an heir.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/house | Your house. Add a player's name to see theirs. |
/house name <name> | Name it (up to 12 characters). |
/house motto <motto> | Set its motto (up to 8 words). |
/house heir <player> | Name your heir. |
/house spouse <player> | Name your spouse. |
You may name a spouse and an heir simultaneously, but they must be two
different players, so your spouse can never also serve as your heir.
Substitute remove for the name to cancel either appointment.
Culture
Culture belongs to the town, and the mayor determines it. It applies to everyone who lives there, whatever their own religion.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/culture set <culture> | Set your town's culture (mayor). |
/culture list | See what cultures there are. |
/culture view [town] | Look up a town's culture. |
A mayor may adopt any of these cultures for the town:
- Nord
- Imperial
- Breton
- Redguard
- Dunmer
- Altmer
- Bosmer
- Orsimer
- Khajiit
- Argonian
- Reachfolk
Religion
Your religion is personal, and no mayor may choose it for you. You may change it afterwards whenever you wish.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/religion set <religion> | Choose your religion. |
/religion list | See what religions there are. |
/religion <player> | Look up a player's religion. |
/nation religion | The spread of religions across your nation. |
You may choose any of the religions below:
- The Nine Divines
- The Daedric Princes
- The Old Ways
- The Reclamations
- The Hist
- The Ancestor Moth
Roles
A mayor or officer may award a role to any resident of the town. Roles are decorative, and they are the only element on this page that somebody else must award you.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/roles assign <player> <role> | Give a resident a role (mayor or officer). |
/roles remove <player> | Take it back. |
/roles list | See the roles your town has awarded. |
A mayor may award any of the roles below:
- Housecarl
- Steward
- Court Wizard
- Master-at-Arms
- Captain of the Guard
- Priest
- Chamberlain
- Legate
- Kennelmaster
- Bard
- Watch Commander
